Welcome

We are a varied (and friendly!) congregation seeking to know more of Christ and walk with Him in our village and in the world.  We meet regularly for worship, usually on Sundays at 9.30am and 6pm, and welcome everyone who would like to join us.  Click here for information on this month’s services and explore the site to find out more about the Church and our activities.

CHARITY OF THE MONTH
This month it is all change and we return to one of our regular Charities for the next quarter USPG (United Society Partners in the Gospel).
This is a worldwide charity. It works in the Philippines (with local communities to introduce a more effective method for farming rice) and in Malawi (developing health programmes) to name but two.

OPEN HOUSE
Everyone is invited to come for a cup of tea or coffee and a chance to chat and make friends every Thursday in the Lady Chapel from 10.15am. Open House will be after the short 9.45am Holy Communion service. You are most welcome to come to this even if you have not been to the service. Open House is not a fundraiser and no charge will be made for the refreshments.

May Fair 2017: Thank you!

Ascension Day 2017

A huge  thank you from the Friends of Colerne Church to everyone who helped, entered a chariot, did all the boring jobs, laughed, clapped, spent money, baked cakes, served drinks and ice creams and teas, etc . . .  a wonderful day with better than expected weather, brought to life by everyone who joined in.  Here’s to next year!

This year Ascension Day is Thursday 25th May.  Reverend Janet led a special Communion service, followed by Open House - a chance to chat over coffee and cakes.  This year Ascension Day marks the start of “Thy Kingdom Come”, the Archbishop’s call for nine days of prayer focusing on the spreading of the good news of Christ.
